SMAC- Silver
The usual 300/200 warmup, then we'll get right to kicking...
4 sets of:
1 x 25 kick FAST free with boards @ 1:00
1 x 50 kick negative split free on back with flip turn & FAST underwater dolphin kick off of both walls - @ 1:45
1 x 75 kick IM order by 25's (NO FREE) with boards @ 2:30
No rest between sets, check HR after 4th set.
Review breaststroke...
- pullouts, remember, "easy as 1-2-3."
- head position while swimming- stay in neutral position on your torso, in line with your spine
- kick: SQUEEZE your feet together so your bum rides up to the surface of the water at the end of each kick.
Depending on how much space we have after this (with the Bronze Group also in the pool), we'll go a set of 50's or a longer swim...
Do an excellent job on your HW tonight. be sure to give your parents that handout on the possible meet, May 7-8. Have a great day!
