RM & GK - thanks for coming out to Rochester today!
400 swim freestyle
400 reverse IM - each 100 is drill/swim/drill/kick by 25's
1:00 rest
Talk about breaststroke, favorite drills and biggest drawback to your current stroke
Work on simple drills:
breast pull w/free kick - works on a FAST turnover, body position
2 kicks 1 pull breaststroke - works on body position & generating power from your kick
breast kick on back- works on moving feet to start the kick instead of cranking knees up towards the body (while swimming) to start the kick
Others you like??
Finish with some light kicking and some 50's swim breast/free, putting all the elements of the drills together to make it a smooth, efficient stroke.
