SMAC- Bronze I with Maureen & Michael
Stress the importance of good streamlining & FAST underwater dolphin kick before they get in!
Drills to review:
2 kicks 1 pull breaststroke- head down/glide after each kick
Double arm backstroke- head flat, thumbs out first & pinkies in first
**"Lift & drop" butterfly breathing drill
**with fins
KICKING:
Race in pairs if you can:
25's on back, working specifically on the 5 FAST underwater dolphin kicks off the wall; then
Breaststroke kick with the boards- squeeze feet together & glide after each kick
If there is time...
Break into two groups, one for starts & one for turns
Everybody do an excellent job with your HW tonight, be sure to practice your breaststroke kick in front of the big mirror at home. Have a great day!
